 Board members of the EMU visit the officials of Kerman University of Medical Sciences in a trip to Kerman on Sunday, November 01.

University Information Center: the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), located in North Cyprus, with twenty thousand students and six schools, is one of the leading universities in Cyprus.
The visiting EMU team included Prof. Necdet Osam (the Chancellor), Prof. Hasan Amca (Deputy Director of Development), Prof. Mustafa Fethi Shahin (Dean of the School of Pharmacy), Murat Akuggrali (Head of Public Relations), Dr. Aman Rasouli, and Dr. Navid Nobakht.

 Joining them from Kerman University of Medical Sciences, were Dr. Aliakbar Haghdoost, the Chancellor, Dr. Majid Fasihi Harandi, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, Dr. Abbas Pardakhti, Deputy Director of Research and Technology, Dr. Bagher Amirheydari, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, and Dr. Mehdi Ansari, Director of Research Affairs.

“The EMU party visited Kerman to extend an agreement entered into four years ago, as well as, to develop relations concerning the academia, research, and services”, said the university’s Deputy Director of Research and Technology.
“Today’s meeting centered around exchanging students and faculty, conducting joint research projects, holding short- and mid-term training programs and English courses (TOEFL, etc. under the supervision of the University of Cambridge), production of dosage forms, and potentials of health products export”, added Dr. Abbas Pardakhti.
Besides meeting with university officials, the EMU will visit the School of Pharmacy and Medical School of Kerman University of Medical Sciences. Meeting with the chancellor of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman is also part of the schedule of this party’s one-day trip to Kerman.
The EMU party had a meeting with the Deputy Director of Education to the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education in Tehran the day before.
